The Granary of Derry is a modern building with a historic past. Built in the early 1900s, the Granary is on a discontinued railroad shipping line. The original train stop is still located at the entrance to the apartments, and the grain hoist remains attached to the street side of the building. During the summer months, the park holds a weekly Farmers' Market with fresh produce, baked goods, farm eggs and meats, and beautifully hand-crafted goods.
